MODULAR HOUSE FRASER ROAD, SOUTH YORKSHIRE

Fraser Road is located in the city of Sheffield, in the UK. Constructed on a site where former garages existed. The site is a contoured and opens onto a beautiful green wooded area.
Designed as a temporary stay for moving on from homelessness The units are designed to
be low-carbon and sustainable. it uses PV panels, and thermodynamic panels to be nature supportive,
This is a project designed as per UK standards.
The City council proposed to make use of an old garages in Sheffield to create new. temporary homes for people to whom it accepts a homelessness duty. Taking figures from before the pandemic. There are 3 EV charging posts, in the panels. These units have been designed to provide all the amenities of a residence for a 1 person capcity residential unit.
The proposal features 6 units of accommodation that are temporary homes for those people who have found themselves homeless. These would be provided as a 'safety net' and 'stepping stone' until individuals or households are able to move on to more permanent accommodation. The site has a community area, ample sunight through windows and rooflights to create a cheerful mood all around.
